Geoffrey Mdala was all smiles when he had a chance to talk to Fr. Mario Pacifici, the founding trustee of Andiamo Youth Cooperative Trust (AYCT) today on Monday, December 17, 2012.
According to Geoffrey, Fr Mario is a person he has always regarded as a parent to him.
“My parents died when I was very young and it was Fr. Mario who took care of me. I will always appreciate the role he played for me to reach this far,” said Geoffrey.
Geoffrey Mdala is now a fourth year student at Chancellor College doing Bachelors of Arts Humanities (BAH) majoring in Philosophy.
When he met Fr. Mario today, he gave him the two History books he has authored for Junior Certificate.
Mdala was born on 25 January 1974. He hails from Chiyendausiku village, Traditional Authority Nsamala in Balaka district. He did his Secondary School education at St. Paul the Apostle Seminary in Mangochi district and later studied Philosophy and Liberal Arts at St. John the Baptist Major Seminary.
