The new tank
Water problem at Andiamo Education Institutions (AEI) campus may be a thing of the past as a 5000 litre tank has been erected to support the only tank that has been in the campus for some time.
The new 5000 litre tank will supply water to the two boys hostels and the technical school. In times when the electric pumps are not working, there are also two boreholes, one at the girls hostel and the other one close to the boys’ hostels.
Before the new tank, the campus had only one tank that was not enough to supply water to about 250 students. In the 2012/13 new academic calendar, AEI campus will have a minimum of 300 students.
