In April 2012 Technical, Entrepreneurial and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TEVETA) and Andiamo Youth Cooperative Trust (AYCT) signed a Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) underwhich ten students from different Technical Colleges in the country came for apprenticeship.
Chikondi Samboko, Nelson Kauwa and Lovemore Chabwera of Motor vehicle Mechanics, Danken Mwandiza and Mercy Mafaiti of Electrical Installation, Blessings Dzinkambani, Yohane Chimombo, Isaiah Chapepa, Isaac Washa and Haziwel Phillip of Carpentry and Joinery.
Among other projects the apprentices worked at the Lisanjala Project. Thus, Andiamo also benefited in the reciprocated nature of the apprenticeship.
The apprentices admitted to the swift development of their skills for the one year they have stayed with Andiamo. As they were going the Executive Director; Mr. A. Galeta asked the students to feel free to come for internship.
